Psychiatry for psychologists
We invite you to an online seminar on private psychiatry, aimed at psychologists and all interested professionals. Our goal is to introduce the main mental disorders, show diagnostic signs with examples, identify indications for psychiatric consultation and discuss treatment options.
The seminar is conducted by a doctor psychiatrist, psychotherapist, Phd, Igor Kolesnikov. The first seminar (out of six planned) will discuss depressive and anxiety disorders, namely:
– how to distinguish normal from pathological
– dynamics of anxiety from shyness to pathologically anxious personality
– depression <-> exhaustion – burnout <-> depression
– depression as a separate disorder and depression in personality decompensation
– key diagnostic criteria (“quick diagnosis”)
– when psychiatric counseling is needed
– when and what medications are prescribed for mood disorders
– questions and answers
