The Search for Authentic Happiness: Between Self-Criticism, Relationships, and the True Self

On the eve of St. John the Baptist Day and the ancient midsummer celebration of Kupolė, when nature reaches its fullness and people have traditionally sought renewal, meaning, and inner transformation, we invite you to an experiential seminar:
“The Search for Authentic Happiness: Between Self-Criticism, Relationships, and the True Self”
Many of us search for happiness by trying to become “better,” stronger, more acceptable to others, or by constantly controlling ourselves. Yet the further we move away from our authentic selves, the harder it becomes to experience closeness, genuine connection, and inner fullness.
During this seminar we will explore:
– how the inner critic is formed,
– why closeness in relationships becomes difficult,
– how shame and emotional rejection shape our lives,
– why loneliness can remain even when surrounded by others,
– what it means to be in authentic contact with oneself.
Through the perspective of Gestalt therapy, attachment theory, dialogue, reflection, and experiential practices, we will seek not an “ideal version” of ourselves, but a more alive, authentic, and grounded way of being.
This is an invitation:
  • to slow down,
  • to listen inwardly,
  • and to return closer to what is truly alive within us.
